[edit]Linkedin is not okay to use in any circumstances. "a person generally knows about themselves" - that's right, but you shouldn't be using them as a reference. cook is a primary source, which is not okay to use.
you're contradicting yourself too. "that is probably ian correcting the facts". since "a person generally knows about themselves", why not let it stay? please this is not difficult; its basic. linkedin definitely no — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yifek (talk • contribs) 20:41, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- I get your point on LinkedIn and how Ian is a primary source and all that, but there are plenty of reliable sources from newspapers etc; why did you delete those? Newspapers aren't gossip (usually).
- I am not contradicting myself. I reverted back to Ian's corrections after somebody else had reverted it. Look in the history properly. As a person generally knows about themselves, it can stay. So neither of us need now to edit the article on this matter. Rcsprinter (talk) 06:27, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
