The result of the move request was: moved. There is no consensus here for either name but I notice that the article was stable at the Melanie B name for many years before being moved on December 7 and so per WP:TITLECHANGES it should stay at the title. So I guess you propose moving to I Want You Back (Melanie B song)? Not sure, the artist's article is called Melanie Brown. The cover says Melanie B, though. Jafeluv (talk) 15:07, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note that when Jafeluv wrote the above comment, the requested move was displayed as "I Want You Back (Melanie Brown song) → I Want You Back (Melanie Brown song)". I've since updated it to indicate the originator's intent. DH85868993 (talk) 07:17, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure too, there's an argument we should follow the name of the parent article (Melanie Brown) but there's also one that we should use the name which the artist records under (Melanie B). Though with Beyoncé the articles are named, Halo (Beyoncé Knowles song) and Sweet Dreams (Beyoncé Knowles song) (both of which are good articles) even though she's credited as just "Beyoncé". So going by that, I'd stick with the current name for consistency. I can't think of any other examples, can anyone else? Mhiji (talk) 05:05, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
However, Come with Me (Puff Daddy song) and Tell Me (Diddy song) are disambiguated by the name the artist was using at the time. (The article is at Sean Combs.) I'm fine with the proposed rename, although either option would be okay I think. Jafeluv (talk) 05:58, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
