Covers vs. Performances

I took the list of people who the article said had performed or played the song, and replaced it with a list of recorded covers. I was able to find recordings for almost all the artists on the list. A few, I think, haven't put out official recordings, and one or two - Pete York, for example - I think were errors. I also removed the notability notice from the top - considering how often the song has been covered, and by whom, it seems notable to me. Brianyoumans (talk) 15:26, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
