I removed "It was featured prominently in the soap opera Days of our Lives as Chloe Lane and Philip Kiriakis' song." as I could not find any evidence that the song was featured in the [Days of our Lives] aside from one episode per imdb.com. If this is verifiable please post the reliable reference(s) so the article remains well researched. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Division42 (talkcontribs) 18:40, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comprehensive Material

[edit]

Added lots of comprehensive material on 07-8-2010 to post accurate information. Will research to find more comprehensive material to add to content. Added "Reception, Lyrics and References" to table of contents as these are pertinent to the song page.BGreulich (talk) 14:04, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added that the song originally was released only as the pop version. The country mix version was available a few months later on the album, "Wings Of A Dove."BGreulich (talk) 02:05, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Music Video

[edit]

Edited and added more (visual) details about the music video to include what was being shot, the background and what Leann Rimes was doing.BGreulich (talk) 02:05, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Works Cited

[edit]

Added References to cite works. During my research, I could not find anything to back up the claim regarding the soap opera, Days of Our Lives. BGreulich (talk) 14:04, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ineedyoulean.jpg

[edit]

Image:Ineedyoulean.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I think this should be moved.

I don't know how or why this got As "I Need You (LeAnn Rimes song)" but as it was the first to be released as a song shouldn't it be "I Need You (song)"? JamesAlan1986 *talk 22:12, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what you're talking about, since three of the other songs with articles listed at the disambiguation page I Need You were released before Rimes's song--the Beatles song (1965), the America song (1972), and the 3T song (1996, and originally released by another group in 1979)--and the latter two were released as singles. In any case, disambiguation doesn't work like that. If there is no primary topic, as in this case, then all articles using the ambiguous term should be fully disambiguated. There is, as a rule, no such thing as a sub-primary or secondary topic. Since there are several other songs with this title with articles, the LeAnn Rimes song should remain at "I Need You (LeAnn Rimes song)".--ShelfSkewed Talk 05:28, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
