Does anyone know which films are referenced within the music video? I think I know a few: Psycho, The Birds, The Andromeda Strain, The Fifth Element. WizardFusion 19:53, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Format picture disc
[edit]According to hmv.co.uk the size of the picture disc is 10 inch instead of 12. Although they sell it on their 12 inch single site. To add to the confusion, probably. Fkvdmark 09:37, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Error / Vandalism
[edit]Sven Goran Ericsson is the director of the music video? He is a football manager and I don't think he needs the extra money from a second job and a less likely music video director I could not imagine. But who knows, stranger things have happened. George Bush is President of the USA after all.
From http://www.music-videos.duncans.tv/2006/scissor-sisters-i-dont-feel-like-dancing/ "the music video, was directed by Andy Soup with Independent Films, with producer Verity White and director of photography Alex Barber." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.86.126.220 (talk) 18:36, 10 February 2007 (UTC).
Ian McKellen is an unlikely music video producer too!
According to this article Radio Telefis Eireann is the label, its nonsense like this that makes you realise that contributing to wikipedia is a profound waste of time. The article has contained this vandalism for some time, what other errors lie within? Djegan 13:24, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
The article is about a song, and thus should state clearly who wrote the song. Elton John co-wrote it, but who else co-wrote it? To miss out something like this is absurd.Tobycek 11:53, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Cover Version
[edit]There is a rather good cover version on YouTube, by Hayseed Dixie at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BV9Xuw0Sojg - where, if at all, would be a good place to mention it?
Elton John
[edit]Elton John collaborated with them on "I Don't Feel like Dancin'" (as pianist and co-writer).
Foun on scissor sisters page, but unconfirmed in the page of "I don t feel like dancing"...
What is the right info ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.225.192.11 (talk) 06:40, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
SingStar v2 appearance.
[edit]This is one of the 30 songs included in the second version of SingStar a Guitar Hero type Karaoke game for the PS3.
I am also curious as to what "Joanna" is refering to in the lyric "the old Joanna plays" I am assuming this is a person associated with disco or music, but I do not know who this is. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.200.144.18 (talk) 15:11, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- The old "Joanna" is a reference to the piano. "Joanna" is cockney rhyming slang for piano. ElvisFan1981 (talk) 15:16, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Cinematographic Melange
[edit]What the heck is a cinematographic melange? The word cinematographic is linked, but that isn't the word I find confusing. Melange sounds like a dessert. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.226.35.117 (talk) 06:46, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
