Tha Carter V?
[edit]IANAHB2 is not even released, and then there’s a new album, called "Tha Carter V", announced for 2014??? This is not true, is it? --Freedom of Lolxdhahaha (talk) 19:12, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Partially, Tha Carter V has been announced but a release date of 2014 has not which I have removed. STATic message me! 20:45, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
Record label
[edit]Lil Wayne's record label Universal Republic Records is now defunct, he and all of his label-mates moved to Republic Records which will prompt him to release this album under this label instead of the former one, and why did you changed it back? If you don't believe me, then just do research and darn I put a link and you didn't bother to look at it. Wow so ignorant. comment added by Smarty9108
I Ain't Nervous ft. Boo
[edit]When "Rich As Fuck" ft. 2 Chainz was released, another song leaked called "I Ain't Nervous" ft. Boo. However, it is unknown whether or not it will actually make the album. Distortiondude (talk) 18:41, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
This song is actually Curtains off the album. Good find!
Rich As Fuck
[edit]There should be more regarding this track on the article, such as how it leaked with the first and second verses switched, with a small change in lyrics on the first verse (along with an unfinished version of Curtains), the background behind it (how it should have been the 3rd single instead of Love Me), and how it is being released for download on iTunes with a pre-order of IANAHB2 (Deluxe Explicit Version).... in my humble opinion lol Distortiondude (talk) 20:35, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
New Projects..
[edit]Regarding the first topic posted on this talk, C5 shouldn't be the next album on the list. Wayne said that it would be his last album (although this may change) and he has a few other albums to put out before it, such as Rebirth 2, Devol, and I Can't Feel My Face (which was reconfirmed some time last year)... so C5 shouldn't be the "next" album on this list Distortiondude (talk) 20:38, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, but these albums (Rebirth 2 and such) haven't been officially confirmed to come out. Even Tha Carter V hasn't been officially confirmed. Just hold off and see what happens. (Eleventhblock (talk) 22:11, 30 March 2013 (UTC))
Romance on iTunes
[edit]Romance isn't on the iTunes version.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Distortiondude (talk • contribs) 03:22, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
Lay It Down
[edit]The song "Lay It Down" is not produced by Diplo. The original song is "Easy Easy" and it was produced by TNGHT — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.126.119.13 (talk) 15:56, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
skatboarding
[edit]skateboarding is misspelled in the 3rd paragraph of the background section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.246.80.178 (talk) 04:59, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
- What is skateboarding even have to do with this album. Lil Wayne's skateboarding career must on his biography and not on this page. (Eleventhblock (talk) 22:11, 30 March 2013 (UTC))
Rich as Fuck, Part 2
[edit]"Rich as Fuck" is a single. A music video has been released for it. (Eleventhblock (talk) 22:14, 30 March 2013 (UTC))
- Yes a promotional single as it says in the article. Point being? STATic message me! 22:55, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
Lay It Down
[edit]The beat for "Lay It Down" is based on the TNGHT(Hudson Mohawke & Lunice) song "Easy Easy." I think it should be noted in the samples or somewhere else. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.66.35.216 (talk) 23:37, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
Hidden face in album cover
[edit]when you screen shot the album cover on an iPhone it reveals a quick glimps of lil wayne on the background, this can also be revealed by taking a screen shot and then auto enhancing it in the edit menu. Try it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ampzero (talk • contribs) 14:33, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
Rapcore
[edit]This album had a surprising amount of screaming in it, even if it was in the background. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TKT2HPNisE (Go to 1:04) as well as in this track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z25pGEGBM4 (Skip to 1:28, especially in the chorus). I believe that this album qualifies for the genre tag of Rapcore, because it mixes Rap with elements of Hardcore almost seamlessly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Creepshow tonite (talk • contribs) 22:58, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
Agreed. Theres too much screaming on here its kinda fucked
