False statement: Each iShares fund tracks a bond or stock market index.

COMT, for example, iShares Commodities Select Strategy ETF, as described on page S-2 of the summary prospectus: "The Fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) that does not seek to replicate the performance of a specified index." What is it based on, then? Wildfowl (talk) 14:04, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, not sure what your question means. The fund is actively managed. Does this below answer your question?
The investment seeks total return by providing investors with broad commodity exposure. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a combination of exchange-traded commodity futures contracts, exchange-traded options on commodity-related futures contracts and exchange-cleared commodity-related swaps (together, "Commodity-Linked Investments") and equity securities of issuers engaged in a commodities-related business ("Commodity-Related Equities"), thereby obtaining exposure to the commodities markets.
If not, could you elaborate on what it is you wish to know? Barefoot through the chollas (talk) 16:23, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have amended the second para of the lede. What do you think? Wildfowl (talk)
Looks good to me. Barefoot through the chollas (talk) 19:58, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
