Death of Series
[edit]So is this series dead now? It sure looks that way. If so, we should mention that in the article. Recury 20:04, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- I guess so, I went ahead and changed the article to reflect that. Recury 22:58, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

- I added the article to WikiProject NASCAR as a former NASCAR series. It is located on a NASCAR infobox. I watched many Goody's Dash races. Royalbroil T : C 00:28, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

- This series appears to be alive and kicking under ASA's wing.Mustang6172 (talk) 04:48, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Foreign Manufactures
[edit]I'm going to update this article to clarify a few things on manufactures. Right now it confuses the Nextel Cup (Wintson, and before that Grand National) with NASCAR as a sanctioning body. Before Toyota joined the Busch Series and Nextel Cup in 2007, they were competing Tundra's in the Craftsman Truck Series since 2005. Also, the Toyota Celica has been a long time competitor in the Goody's Dash Series (now ISCARS). In fact, Toyota has already won a NASCAR series championship, when Robert Huffman took the GDS crown. actualy, they joined the top 3 with the tundra in 2004, they had to devolp a fuctioning v8 to compete in the truck series, which is also why gm pulled pontiac out at the last minute in late 2003, so they could put more effort into the trucks to compete with toyota.
