Requested move

[edit]
The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Moved. This is part of the unfortunate trend of cable channels eliminating names that suggest any actual content, so that they can add programming that deviates from their customary format. We can bemoan the trend, but we cannot deny that it exists. R'n'B (call me Russ) 17:47, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Independent Film Channel (Canada)IFC (Canada) — Let's face it: CanWest refers to this channel everywhere as "IFC": On IFC's official website, on all of CanWest's websites, promotions, and on the channel itself. The "Independent Film Channel" is no longer used anywhere else than on the CRTC's databases. --InMontreal (talk) 03:20, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
