Meetings
[edit]"and may hold meetings at IETF meetings" - are you sure they hold meetings at meetings? Bilge [TC] 10:20, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, they do. An IETF meeting is around 1300 people gathering for a week; a WG meeting is 15-300 of these gathering in a single room for 2 hours. The words seem to fit.... --Alvestrand 14:24, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Contested redirect
[edit]I'm rolling back the change of this to a redirect.
The reason is that this article is referred to in a number of other places (Consensus decision-making is one) where a pointer to IETF by itself would be inappropriate. I think there's enough said here that it's reasonable to preserve the page. --Alvestrand (talk) 16:00, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Merged as per Talk:Internet Engineering Task Force#Proposed merge. -- P 1 9 9 • TALK 16:53, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
