[edit]Where are the references? Especially the ones crediting Nortel with originating the idea? I can appreciate putting credit where it's due, but this seems more like blatant advertising (esp. with the Nortel Wiki tie-in.) Joseph chapman (talk) 23:12, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

IEEE 802.1ah-2008 → IEEE 802.1ah – Other articles which describe IEEE 802.1 Working Group standards and amendments do not include the year in the article's name. The number 802.1ah by itself is unambiguous.Davidpward (talk) 04:34, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
