Ripped off
[edit]The wording of the article sounds like it has been ripped from some other text: "We know that the networks are extremely vulnerable to configuration mistakes, miswiring and malicious attacks that can interrupt organisation and service provider operations; so it is crucial for any enterprises to apply various security mechanisms to protect their data, applications and networks functions.". Who are We and how do we know that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.237.142.6 (talk) 06:31, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Unintelligible sentence
[edit]This sentence doesn't make any sense to me:
"This norm assures incomplete network operations by identifying unauthorized actions on a LAN and preventing communication from them." -- Dougher (talk) 17:21, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
- I've removed this sentence now, I don't know what the sentence meant either. -- Evilninja (talk) 08:47, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
files from IEEE
[edit]Files from IEEE websites are not freely available anymore. Please update the links to some other site, or at least remove they are for free. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.182.243.75 (talk) 12:13, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
