Updates needed

Added information and references about the IEEE Smart Grid Initiative, as well as a link to the IEEE Smart Grid Initiative Wikipedia page.

More importantly, it seems the standard was approved in 2011, so it all needs to be rewritten into past tense and the article moved. I will give it a try. W Nowicki (talk) 17:58, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Needs to be placed back in present tense

Work has continued under IEEE 2030 since this article was authored.
