Should be stubbed?

[edit]

This article should probably be stubbed. Right? -- Blue.painting (talk) 18:06, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Blue.painting: If you think so, be bold and add one. –eggofreasontalk 18:07, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@EggOfReason: Ok, great; I stubbed it as compu-hardware-stub; that seems appropriate? -- Blue.painting (talk) 20:37, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Environment variables" is a confusing term

[edit]

The 2nd paragraph of the article currently says "This integrated quantum computing system is housed in a 9x9x9 ft[2] air-tight glass cube that properly maintains environmental variables.[2]". This is confusing, as "Environment variable" is a common programming term with a meaning I'm pretty sure is unrelated to the article. Also, the referenced article doesn't use the phrase, so I'm not sure what this is referring to. StereoFolic (talk) 03:22, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. I changed it to "...air-tight glass cube that maintains a controlled physical environment." --Guy Macon (talk) 05:54, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Which name should we use? --Guy Macon (talk) 04:06, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The name should be IBM Quantum System One. See: https://www.ibm.com/quantum/systems
"IBM Q System One" is a legacy name that was only briefly used early in the project. Rafiatibmquantum (talk) 20:03, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
