IBM Personal Computer XTIBM Personal Computer/XT — To fit with same name as IBM Personal Computer/AT if appropriate. —Frap (talk) 20:21, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

  • Weak oppose I think the AT should be moved to match this article per MOS:TM on special characters which are not particularly defining, or alternately, this article should move to IBM PC/XT and the AT article to IBM PC/AT, per WP:COMMONNAME. 76.66.194.220 (talk) 06:20, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
  • Oppose - A quick look at old ads in BYTE didn't show me any in which IBM used the phrase IBM Personal Computer/XT and the technical reference manual spine doesn't show a slash. --~~

File:IBM tech ref 640.jpg No slash in the phrase Personal Computer XT

IBM XT 286

I do not believe that the 'IBM XT 286' section should exist here. The XT 286 (IBM model 5162) is a completely different machine to the IBM XT (IBM model 5160). It is not even an XT-class machine. From Mueller's Upgrading and Repairing PCs book, "This model may look like an XT, but under the skin, it's all AT!" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sphere808 (talkcontribs) 10:33, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
