14 weeks in Canada?
[edit]Didn't this song peak at number one for 14 weeks in Canada? All the sources claim this. 64.231.131.188 23:50, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- I have heard this, but haven't seen a verifable source on it, if you could list them...? Thankyoubaby 02:00, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- There are not any online references that state "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!" was number-one for 14 weeks, but there are some print sources that state as such. There was a recently-published list of the longest-running number-ones on the Canadian Singles Chart. These were the top few:
- Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" (45 weeks)
- Spice Girls' "Goodbye" (16 weeks)
- Brandy & Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" (15 weeks)
- Madonna's "Hung Up" (15 weeks)
- Shania Twain's "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!" (14 weeks)
- I'm not certain when or where this list was published; I heard the top five all from hearsay. But it seems to give a good overview. 64.231.71.151 19:20, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well I'll look around for an online source, and when I find one I'll change it. :) Thankyoubaby 20:08, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- Okay! I hope this list proved somewhat useful. 64.231.131.144 19:31, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

It doesn't matter what Billboard stated; Billboard is not the Canadian Singles Chart. According to the archives, it peaked at number two per this ranking. You can check the remainder of the archives and you will see that it did not reach number one. Velten 23:51, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, well according to that site it was number one [1]. Quit reverting you are clearly wrong. --Thankyoubaby 05:37, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ah! I didn't see that. You said it reached number-one in March 2003, so naturally I went to that month and checked, which was incorrect. Please accept my apologies, but do not use excuses including "clearly wrong". Velten 00:01, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
