[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 4 external links on I'm Alive (Celine Dion song). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.ifpi.gr/chart03.htm
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.rt100.ro/editie-top-100_x10037.html
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.disqueenfrance.com/fr/page-259376.xml?year=2002
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.snepmusique.com/fr/page-259165.xml?year=2002&type=7
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

External links
[edit]In response to these edits:
I believe that these external links should not be added to the article, as they aren't really useful / meaningfully add to what you learn from the article.
Wikipedia is not a collection of links, and Wikipedia also has a guideline regarding what kind of external links an article should have, what shouldn't (MOS:EL).
To the anon editor (62.211.233.175) repeatedly trying to add these links back, I would greatly appreciate if you could discuss here why they should be added, why they meet the criteria in the guidelines above. I urge you to stop making any further edits without discussion now, as doing so is considered edit warring, which can lead to being blocked from editing. — AP 499D25 (talk) 12:39, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. I can't even access one of the videos they're adding, and two of the links ([1] and [2]) are essentially the same thing, which means they're adding duplicate external links on top of everything else. Furthermore, I highly doubt a casual reader would want to watch all these videos. That's what YouTube is for. ResPM (T🔈🎵C) 13:36, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
