Contradiction

Restricting movement

Hypertropic scars, especially from burns, can and do sometimes restrict movement. This isn't dubious, as the scar tissue is both physically bulkier than unscarred tissue, and less elastic. Some references/sources:

brown colour

i have changed to "hypertrophic scars are red to brown and thick". in the article scars, it is mentioned that people with darker skin have brown hypertrophic scars.120.138.12.75 (talk) 15:59, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
