Scope
[edit]This article is from the sole perspective of human anatomy. I'm not sure that this is appropriate, given that this phenomenon exists outside of humans. See, e.g., this source describing hyperplastic tissue in olive trees. Maybe "diagnosis" section should be changed to "diagnosis of human hyperplasia"? Other changes are probably also needed.
