YH. aciferum has been evaluated as endangered since the 1980s this appears to be out of date according to the body

I've clarified the summary in the lead

which refers to glands can you mention here why this reference is made?

I'm not sure what the recommendation is; the sources don't say why the section was named as such, in case that's what you're asking

YHypericum prolificum is also known as "shrubby St. John's wort" which might cause some confusion.
