Merge proposal

[edit]

To help readers, it would help to discuss hydrogen purity and hydrogen purification in one article. Overall the article on hydrogen purity has attracted few human edits. Most edits for the preceding 4 years are by bots.

For the above reasons, I propose to do the merge soon.

One more thing, I get the feeling that these articles are pitched toward fuel cells, which is cute technology, but probably dwarfed by other applications of hydrogen. In any case, comments would be welcome.--Smokefoot (talk) 17:48, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I significantly edited the hydrogen purity page around 2 years, ago (and am human). I disagree with merging it with hydrogen purification when the quality and breath of the hydrogen purification sections are limited. If you think the number of applications needs to be expanded to non-'cute' technologies then you're welcome to try to fund high quality standards, however most of these are still being developed. 139.143.85.231 (talk) 14:39, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
