nitroformate vs trinitromethanide
[edit]The name of this is confusing. A nitroformate wouyld be expected to be O2NCO2− salt, but from the diagram and formula it is cleaar that this is a methanide. Since the hydrazinium salt of the real nitroformate also exists, perhaps the name of this is wrong, or is it really describing the wrong chemical.
