Interesting claims in the article, but I doubt the accuracy of the so-called fact ass we need sources (archeological, historical, etc) to back up the claim. The term Dong Yi was used by the Sino-Tibetian who founded the Zhou Dynasty to the people of the Shang Dynasty, which later to other people who live to their east, which included Korean, Japanese, Manchu.

Agreed, which is why you'll find this in Category:Hwandan Gogi and not in Category:History of Korea. -- Visviva 12:51, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Excessive Hanja?

[edit]

This article and the ones related to it are genuinely interesting write-ups on Korean mythology. To make things more readable, how about cutting down on the number of Hanja that accompany the romanised terms? For example, we could keep just the most important ones. I think we should trust that users of Wikipedia who have a deep interest in this topic will click on the Ko:Wikipedia link to the same article and will be able to see the Hanja in that article. Thoughts? Mumun 無文 21:06, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hwanguk -- how destroyed?

[edit]

It would be good to indicate very briefly and concisely how and why Hwanguk was destroyed and succeeded by Sinsiguk (Baedalguk).Mumun 無文 15:04, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
