Can we use any of them in this article? -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 10:51, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- I don't think so, but you should run them by someone more familiar with image use policy. How old is the one with Mubarak btw? I'm assuming the 1970s. Depending on what year (the earlier the better obviously) it might be in the public domain per Egyptian law. --Al Ameer son (talk) 19:01, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- The picture with Mubarak is old but sadly I have no idea when it was taking (Most likely is the 80s). If we figure out what exact year it was taken, we might be able to use it. I wonder if you anyone on wiki who can help us with it -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 09:45, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Organizing
[edit]Should we organize his career by location or under different egyptian presidents or a mixer of both? -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 10:53, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- I like the presidents idea: "Nasser period", "Sadat period," "Mubarak period" or something along those lines. We could add a colon and then write the theme that described Salem's activities in each of those eras, but that might be too wordy. I'll let you make the necessary changes. Speaking of organization, could you do me a favor and make sure the information here matches what the Ahram articles say, particularly when Salem got the job at the External Trade company and when he built the apartment bldg in Heliopolis because I'm slightly confused on the dates of those events. --Al Ameer son (talk) 18:56, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Done BTW, The article is almost 20,000 bytes; 2,000 more and it could/should be in DYK (YaY). -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 09:47, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
- Wish I could've done more yesterday, I'll bring it to the necessary size today, but you should think of a hook and nominate it as quick as possible. By the time you think of one, I'll have finished expanding. --Al Ameer son (talk) 19:01, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
The article has been nominated to be in DYK. Please let me know if you think the hook is good enough. -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 20:43, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
