[edit]i dont think this is worthy of an article FleurDeOdile 21:12, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose The article is a decent size and likely will continue to grow over the next several days. I anticipate this article to be around 18-22k once I complete it. Merging this into the season article would only bloat it up while removing content would not give the storm due justice. This storm has a lot of meteorological history as it became a major hurricane 3 times despite the odds being stacked against it. It is honestly a remarkable system and deserves the article. Furthermore, Norman has received decent news coverage in Hawaii and within the mainland. FigfiresSend me a message! 21:45, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
- Merge - The storm isn't expected to impact any land mass, and the article has quite a bit too much detail for a storm that won't make it past two weeks. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 22:29, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
