  • The opening sentence should probably have a reference, like East Pacific HURDAT.
  • It is projec tpolicy not to put ref sin the lead as there is no need.
  • "Not long after entering Arizona, it dissipated on August 24 over New Mexico." - What is this? It would be much better if you said something like this: "Not long after entering Arizona, Lester weakened to a tropical depression, and dissipated on August 24 over New Mexico."
  • Incorporated your suggestion
  • Why is $3 million converted to 2006 USD and not 2011 USD?
  •  Done
  • "and was responsible for 3 fatalities." - 3 should be spelled-out.
  • "moderate rainfall and minor flooding across southern California, Arizona and New Mexico, as well as rare August snow in the Rocky Mountains." - So there wasn't flooding in other states? The article later states that there was moderate flooding in Denver (Colorado).
  •  Done
  • "The depression attained tropical storm status late on August 20, upon which it was named Lester." Reword; it sounds like your implying that August 20 was named Lester.
  •  Done
  • "minimum central pressure of 985 mbar (hPa)." - Convert mbar to inHg, like this: 985 mbar (hPa; 29.09 inHg).
  • Fixed
  • "It degenerated into a tropical storm while crossing the Baja California Peninsula, and after passing through the northern Gulf of California it made a second landfall near Isla Tiburon in the state of Sonora." - This is kind of a run-on sentence; I would split those two sentences at "Baja California Peninsula, and after"; in other words, re-write as "It degenerated into a tropical storm while crossing the Baja California Peninsula." "After passing through the northern Gulf of California, it made a second landfall near Isla Tiburon in the state of Sonora."
  • Fixed.
  • How come I see it written as the "Government of Mexico" and then the "government of Mexico"?
  • Fixed.
  • Although the peak rainfall in the United States was mentioned, there is still nothing about the peak rainfall in Mexico.
  • Added.
  • All of the references have specific dates, but it is only written with the year in the article. The specific date of the preliminary report is on page 3.
  • The author of Reference #1, 7, and 9 should be Edward Rappaport, and the "National Hurricane Center" should be switched to the publisher parameter.
  •  Done
  • Add the first names on Reference #2 and 3.
  •  Done YE Tropical Cyclone 15:36, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • On Reference 10 & 11, the author should be Associated Press.
Thanks for the review. YE Tropical Cyclone 15:36, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
