Hurrem Sultan

[edit]

If you read in some books it says that she was a Queen if you look online it says she went from a slave to a Queen, and I know it could be wrong but if you put in google translate "Sultan" and translate it to Turkish underneath it will say all the words that it means including Queen, a lot of people and written books about her and said she was Queen.

She was a sex slave

[edit]

This should be mentioned more often and throughout the text. Arnsonstidgley (talk) 17:56, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is already made clear. She was a slave and she was a concubine; hence, she was a sex slave. That is already stated in the article and will be clear to the reader.--Aciram (talk) 18:35, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Needs correction

[edit]

The paragraph starting:

"Moreover, remaining in Costantinopleved out of the harem located in the"

looks like it was vandalized. I dont have the tools to compare versions to easily revert. Polypipe Wrangler (talk) 07:35, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for this message, it seems like an unintentional mistake during an edit. I have corrected it now. EmilySarah99 (talk) 08:08, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Another correction needed

[edit]

I fixed one mutilated sentence already, but can't make sense of this one:

"The letters written by Suleiman to Hürrem have been preserved; from these emerges the great feeling of love that the sultan felt for Roxelana and the lack of her that he felt of her, her main political advisor and her great Haseki of her." 89.10.108.110 (talk) 12:12, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
