As far as I know Hurra Torpedo has never split up. They're one of the most consistent Duplex-bands. Can anyone confirm any split up? (The band stating themselves that they've split up doesn't really count for nothing.) Jraregris 18:11, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
- They haven't split up. Last live show was 16:55, 19 November 2005. Sent live at NRK 2 (Norsk Rikskringkasting) -- [1]
- Well, for some years they had their annual farewell-concert in June...
- The split&reunion is only a gimmick, sort of parody of the everlasting last tours of Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath, as well as the continous reunion with Ozzy and Black Sabbath. Not sure where they have referenced it to, but it have some connections to that. Most of the news from Duplex Records is not to be taken seriously. --Skippern (talk) 03:17, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Well, for some years they had their annual farewell-concert in June...
- Those guys would never split up. They have hidden in the studio, and after ten years, they have released an EP.
- Well... Hidden in the studio isn't exactly what they've done. They've all been very active members of a heap of other bands, television and radio. Jraregris 16:47, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
- Are there actually more Norwegian kitchen appliance bands?
- Of course. Why wouldn't there be? Hakluyt bean 21:51, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Applience Punk / Applience Rock
[edit]Hurra Torpedo is often refered to as "Hvitevarepunk" in Norwegian, meaning Appliance Punk, is there basis for an article about this style of music, or should it be added to this article as an paragraph? --Skippern (talk) 03:17, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
