Help needed - Humanist photography in Britain and European countries other than France
[edit]This article goes into some detail on humanist photography in the USA and it would serve it well to have similar sections on Humanist photography elsewhere, by country. I am occupied with another project at the moment and don't have time to do this but will attend to it at a later stage.
In the meantime surely there is an editor with better familiarity than mine who can add detail on the wonderful historical Humanist photography in Belgium, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia and Hungary for example?

Tidying up the list
[edit]Since 'Humanist Photography' is in the strictest sense a European, and more specifically French, movement of the 1940/50s, inspired by particular post-war sentiments, I would like to tidy the list of photographers in the article. Such lists can be problematic, especially in the case of photography, when people add their names for self-promotion. Unless there are objections I will remove those names that do not have Wikipedia entries to start with, then will weed out those that are not European (perhaps someone might create a 'non-European humanist photographers' list, but I will not), and those not inside the period. I have created Category:Humanist_photographer. Jamesmcardle(talk) 01:44, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
- Having now reduced the list, and further to the above, I will proceed to find references supporting the inclusion of each person in the list as a humanist photographer. Help is welcomed. Jamesmcardle(talk) 23:12, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
