References

[edit]

The original author had written the article using references like (Author 2000) instead of inline references. I've sorted them all out and found a link to the papers. There was one problem in that there were two (Galloway 2003) possibilities in the bibliography. I've merged them both into one, this isn't ideal but it's no worse than it was before. There were a couple of links in the bibliography that weren't cited in the article so I've moved them to a Further reading section. Smartse (talk) 04:59, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Technical

[edit]

This article is too technical. Someone with subject matter expertise should translate the study conclusions into something laypeople can understand. Most importantly, the lead section should summarize these conclusions. Also, there is a lot of language along the lines of "N saturation can result in ..." The question is not so much what human impact can have, but what human impact does have. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 22:09, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
