[edit]Would it be an idea to link to the House of Gord website (http://www.houseofgord.com/) as he seem to specialice in Human furniture?
Questionable
[edit]Is this a real paraphilia? There's no real source (i.e. medical/legal, etc) on the article stating the existence of such a fetish, so I'm inclined to think this might be fake. 177.125.82.157 (talk) 21:44, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Human furniture. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://socialkink.com/articles.php?do=view&id=92

Proposed changes to the definition
[edit]The current definition reads:
Human furniture is a form of bondage and sexual objectification in which a person's body is incorporated into a tray, foot stool, chair, table, cabinet or other pieces of furniture.
- It seems apparent from the illustrations and from the reference to Allen Jones that bondage is not a necessary part of the art form. I suggest removing it from the definition.
- "...incorporated into..." implies a pre-existing piece of furniture. The illustrations imply otherwise. I suggest we replace "...incorporated into..." with "...used as..."

- Done as no objections raised. - Polly Tunnel (talk) 10:36, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- Furthermore, there is a grammatical inconsistency in the definition. Furniture is a class of objects, not a process – see furniture in the Oxford Living Dictionary. To follow this we will have to turn the definition round to say:
Human furniture is furniture in which a person's body is used as a tray, foot stool, chair, table, cabinet or other item.
- As there is no citation for the relevance of the term sexual objectification I would suggest moving that to the "See also" section.
