Issues?
[edit]How many issues of the ongoing were produced? Just the 10 collected into trades or were there more?142.167.122.185 07:51, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Creator credit
[edit]I am quite wary of the art side of the creator credit for this character going solely to Carmine Infantino, as it has always been my impression that he did no more than provide layouts for the first story, while Chance was visually designed by inker and subsequent regular full artist Dick Giordano. --Tbrittreid (talk) 23:36, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
- UPDATE: I should have done this quite some time ago. I have noticed that in the on-screen credits for the new Human Target TV series, Len Wein and Infantino get the "created by" credit, which I can't argue against. However, it reads "Based on DC Comics characters created by...." Note the plural, but none of the supporting cast in this show appeared in the original Action Comics/The Brave and the Bold/Detective Comics "Human Target" stories which that credit must refer to. --Tbrittreid (talk) 19:19, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- With the "old man" plot still waiting to be unspooled, it's possible one or more other characters from the original stories will appear in season one. - Dravecky (talk) 21:14, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Merge?
[edit]I'd like to merge the additional Human Target article (the one published under the Vertigo subheading) with this one - as it is now, there's more focus on the two brief (thus far) tv shows than the lengthier comic history that spawned them, and the comic material in this article (which seems to be the primary reason said article exists) isn't different enough or lengthy enough to merit separation from the article on the Vertigo series. Anyone agree/disagree? Darquis (talk) 22:50, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
- Given that the infobox image here is a Vertigo cover, yeah, I agree. --Tbrittreid (talk) 00:09, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
