A more interesting curiousity than his toe-stubbing, at least in the early 1950s, was his use of two silly mid-ons, apparently in the belief that this would tempt the batsman to drive to the off, and thus risk an edge to leg.Delahays (talk) 11:33, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
