Requested move 24 May 2016
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: moved to Hripsime. There is a clear consensus for the notion that "Hripsime" is the common name of this person. MOS:HONORIFIC, as cited by Cuchullain supports dropping the 'Saint', and indeed the Google Books searches provided do so as well. Therefore, the proposal by Cuchullain makes the most sense in line with WP:AT, specifically the concision criterion, which suggests that titles need be no longer than is necessary to identify the subject of the article. Rhipsime → Saint Hripsime – WP:COMMONNAME Երևանցի talk 08:41, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
- Google Books search results:
- "Hripsime" - 4,090 results
- "St. Hripsime" - 941 results
--
- "Rhipsime" - 1,720 results
- "St. Rhipsime" - 194 results
- "Saint Rhipsime" - 67 results
- Support just Hripsime. This seems to be the most common, it already redirects here, and avoids the WP:HONORIFIC issue.--Cúchullain t/c 14:25, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
