Passed away

[edit]

"Howard Zimmerman, pioneer in organic chemistry, dies at 85" (died on Saturday, Feb. 11). Source: http://www.news.wisc.edu/20331 "Howard E. Zimmerman, age 85, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012". Source: http://host.madison.com/news/local/obituaries/zimmerman-howard-e/article_59b58cf8-57f9-11e1-89c8-0019bb2963f4.html There is a discrepancy in the dates, second article probably more accurate. Second article also states date of birth: "Howard was born on July 5, 1926, in New York". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.246.2.111 (talk) 14:44, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography

[edit]

The bibliography is a constructive, useful part of this article and shouldn't be blanked without good reason. Please see MOS:WORKS. Having a list of works doesn't make the article a CV/resume and the works don't have to be non-academic in nature to be included. Please note that WP:NOTJOURNAL is stating that Wikipedia articles should not read like an academic journal, NOT that academic writing or writing that was published in academic journals is disallowed from being included in a bibliography.
