The Howard Hanson Dam is safe
[edit]Apparently, the only part of the dam that was damaged was the tunnels (that were not in use) underneath the dam. -- Azemocram (talk) 02:31, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Study underway, expected in 2013?
[edit]Scouring news reports of the Army Corps of Engineers turned up no press release between 1/2013 and 1/2017 about whether the remediations resolved the problem. The only indication of current status are in news releases that occur every year about February/March when releases like the following announce the dam is being refilled: [1]. The refill height of the dam is mentioned: "The current plan targets a maximum pool elevation of 1,167 feet above sea level. A 1,167 foot elevation pool has been the spring refill target since 2007." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Khanklatt (talk • contribs) 00:42, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
