Plot
[edit]the stub is really incorrect. the plot itself has nothing to do with losing touch with reality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.75.121.211 (talk) 23:04, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
- Do you have links to any other reviews that confirm this? Lugnuts (talk) 07:46, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
- I do. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1588875/plotsummary . And I watched the movie, too. "Two men are working on a polar meteorological station" - that's the only correct part. The head of the station is Sergey. The trainee is Pavel. It's the end of the 3-month shift and Sergey is getting ready to come back to his wife and children. While Sergey went fishing, Pavel received a radiogram that said that the Sergey's wife and children have died in the hospital. Pavel is afraid to tell that to Sergey because he doesn't know how he would react. _ Should I continue? I don't want to spoil this great movie for you :) Krapivnik-sm (talk) 05:51, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds good enough for a re-write to me. I do want to see this film, so I'll try to avoid reading too much about it! Lugnuts (talk) 10:19, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

bad science
[edit]While an OK film, the plot suggests that irradiating fish using a nuclear source would make the fish itself radioactive, which is nonsense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.229.206.10 (talk) 13:42, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
The film doesn't suggest that. It suggests that Pavel thinks that. Mark Nez (talk) 09:12, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
