Rosters

[edit]

The vast majority of this article is made up of historical rosters without any sources to back them up; they should be removed. The list of rostered skaters is, unfortunately, excessive detail that doesn't belong here. If anything, it should be placed on the league's website, which only shows the current team rosters. While I am sure that the PR folks for the league like having this detail here, it really ought to be placed on the league website in some fashion. I'll post to the talk pages of some of the IP editors who have added these rosters in the past in the hopes of getting their attention, but otherwise am posting notice here that barring any feedback these rosters will get removed from the current article - of course, going back through previous versions of the article one may be able to locate previous versions for accessing historical data if they want it. I agree, while team rosters could potentially be notable, there would need to be some reliable sources covering them (such as exist for many of the national teams). As this information isn't even on the league's own website, it can't stay on Wikipedia. Warofdreams talk 01:56, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Done Removed all the unsourced rosters. Starting other cleanup and updates; I have also turned the table of travel team scores into a collapsible table so that it doesn't eat up half the screen space but may be expanded if one wants to see it. I note that this table hasn't been updated in 5 1/2 years and at this point it is unlikely to get updated accurately. It's also not sourced at all, so there's that. Upcoming expansions on league history and significance as well as updating rankings and WFTDA Playoff performances. Echoedmyron (talk) 22:42, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
