The Original Houghton Weavers
[edit]So can anyone tell me the difference? There's a batch of CDs with seemingly the same tracklist under both names. In Spotify there's some subtle differences in both tracks. All a bit confusing. Can't find out what the situation is.

Sit Thi Deawn
[edit]The BFI page for this tv programme gives the production company as "BBC North West" - possibly only broadcast in that region? BBC Genome's radio times archive from july 1st 1983 lists it as a regional variation for the North West, broadcast at 22:15 plus the description "NORTH WEST Sit Thi Deawn Norman, Tony, David and Dennis - the Houghton Weavers, invite you to join them while they sing songs and tell tales that reflect the hopes and fears of life and times in the North West." 80.47.45.75 (talk) 04:34, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
BBC Radio 2 series
