Fair use rationale for Image:Hailey hotel.jpg

[edit]

Image:Hailey hotel.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Family Audience

[edit]

There are other, deeper, darker secrets that aren't fit to reveal to a family audience. Are we in fact assuming a family audience here on Wikipedia? 12.45.255.66 (talk) 14:34, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Very poorly written article

[edit]

This article is very poorly written. Disorganized, bad grammar -- like a middle schooler's essay in English class. And the article is much too long and detailed.

I would re-write it, but my experience is that when you replace someone else's pet article on WP, they usually end up putting their version back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bus114 (talkcontribs) 15:23, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copy edit notes

[edit]

I replaced the multiple issues template on the article page with the unreferenced template to stop attracting copy editors. There is no point editing unreferenced prose, which might disappear, be altered or never referenced. This article needs to be either deleted or have citations added before a copy edit is going to be useful. Regards Peter S Strempel | Talk 10:52, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scrambled sentence

...when the book was read in galleys three studios big on the movie rights and it was sold to Warner Bros...

Someone has obviously edited this down. Can we restore? Valetude (talk) 12:30, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
