I don't think merging is a good idea either. Hot dog carts are very recognizeable and worth a separate topic and combining the two topics will cause the resulting article to become too large. - Mgm|(talk)01:02, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Some people who visit this article are probably interested in starting a cart and would likely be wondering about license requirements for a startup as compared to a restaurant or selling at a farmer's market. The article mentions health inspections being required, but nothing about needing a vending license or whatever.
