[edit]The drawing in question happened in 2010...so why is the following year part of the title? 207.210.134.83 (talk) 17:00, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- Well, it was in 2011 that the ticket was presented for redemption. Or, at least, the conversation between the lawyer and the lottery organization occurred. Liz Read! Talk! 22:49, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- Sure, but the supposed crime happened in 2010... 207.210.134.83 (talk) 19:47, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
- I went with 2011 because that's when the actual controversy began. ViperSnake151 Talk 15:39, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
- Alright, nobody thought twice about it until 2011; however, the supposed crime happened in 2010...can the page title be modified so that the date is eliminated; there has been (so far) only one Hot Lotto fixing scandal...207.210.134.83 (talk) 17:38, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Parole
[edit]Howdy, all. I added the information that he was released on parole in 2022, as per the following article, but I very seldom edit Wikipedia. Well, not often enough to recall the markup for citations. If somebody could please add the citation, it would be helpful: I added the update already.

- Thank you! I agree Eddie Tipton's parole after a mere 5 years belonged in the lede. The information, citing the same newspaper article, is down in the section on his 2nd conviction and sentencing. It was sort of buried. I copy-edited that a little bit also. -- M.boli (talk) 16:22, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Connection to Epstein?
[edit]Jeffrey Epstein also cashed-in on a lottery "win", and I've just read this Article, and wonder if there is a connection between his "win" and this person who rigged and then "won" multiple lotteries.
