From my talk:
Good day Legacypac
I’m replying to your question posted on the Draft: Is there a specific inclusion criteria for runners? I’m not aware of any however my sentiments are if one or more of the following is notable: Breaking a world record in his/her life
Or
Winning a major event, e.g. an event in the Olympics Games
Or
Specific to my subject winning one or more world recognized major ultra-marathons. In Hoseah’s case he won two:
Two Oceans Marathon and London to Brighton
Greetings

In the absence of any specific inclusion criteria for untra-marathon we fall back on WP:GNG. I see significant coverage in independant sources, years after this person was actively competing. Combined with the fact he is a black person who competed pre-internet in segregated South Africa, the easily found sources are quite remarkable. I'm promoting the page to mainspace for collaberation among interested editors. Legacypac (talk) 01:15, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
