What???

"By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Horrocks."

What is this sentence supposed to mean? - it doesn't make sense. You place what letter on the side of the crater? and what does mid-point closest to Horrocks mean? Richerman (talk) 00:28, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
