Title

[edit]

User:Headbomb moved this from "Horizons: The Journal of the College Theology Society" to "Horizons (journal)". The edit summary said that it's according to the Academic Journals Writing guide.

My understanding of the writing guide is that it would be better to either have the previous title because there are many periodicals called "Horizon", or to call it "Horizons (theology journal)". I'd prefer the former, which is unambiguous and immediately identifiable. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 10:34, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There are many periodicals named Horizons, but only one journal, so (theology journal) isn't needed. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 15:17, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'd argue that having the whole title "Horizons: The Journal of the College Theology Society" is easier and unambiguous. It will better serve people who aren't sure whether they are looking for a journal or a magazine. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 07:56, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Horizons: The Journal of the College Theology Society still redirects here, so you can use that if you want. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 20:10, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
