Release Date Information
[edit]The release date in the UK is also being advertised as 1st April according to http://www.filmdates.co.uk/films/670-hop/ and the poster advertising the film at my local cinema. I wasn't sure where to add this. Should it be written so that "...across the United States." then follows with "...and the United Kingdom."? Or should it be "...and other countries."? Thanks. - I went ahead and added the change, along with a citation linking to the link above - feel free to correct it if you feel it's not done right or could be better. FireFly 209 (talk) 01:39, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Soundtrack
[edit]THe soundtrack has no source of ref at all, and I looked on the Universal website but I cannot seem to find it. What should I do?Jagoperson (talk) 16:15, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- I couldn't find any sources either, so I've removed it for the time being. If any sources surface, we can re-add. We're supposed to believe Patti Smith's "Easter" song is on the soundtrack for this movie?! Doesn't seem fitting at all. — CIS (talk | stalk) 23:50, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

About Hugh Hefner's Part!
[edit]Hello! Hey, I just saw and heard the movie today. I don't think that I ever saw Hugh in it, but I did hear him. E.B. and the Pink Berets, each talk to Hugh via the intercom at the gate to his estate. So, since we don't see him, only hear him, shouldn't he be listed in the voice talent box instead of the live action talent box? Or did someone other than me see his hands appear when the video monitor point of view was shown? For as far as I could tell, that was the only time a part of him could appear in the movie. For otherwise, only his voice is heard via the intercom speaker when the scenes depict the outside, and then from the monitor POV, when the scenes shift to the interior. I'm just asking, for clarity's sake. Leo Star Dragon 1. 70.129.174.55 (talk) 01:03, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- I agree. He didn't play an animated character, yet only his voice was in it, I suppose making it a voice role? But if you put him down as voice role, it will cause confusion. So maybe add a cameo section, or put him down as voice role, and explain he only has a voice cameo. Jagoperson (talk) 06:57, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- According to the Production Notes, he's credited as Voice at Playboy Mansion. AngusWOOF (talk) 01:54, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
DVD?
[edit]Does anyone know when this movie is going to come out on DVD? Because it says nothing about the DVD release on its page. 142.68.142.110 (talk) 00:38, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
- Neither does the article about Song of the South. Truth is I haven't yet seen confirmation from the studio that there will be a DVD release at all. It could just as easily return to theaters shown once a year in the second quarter, just as made-for-TV Christmas specials return to ABC Family every December. Or it could even return to theaters once every seven years, as Walt Disney Pictures used to do with its films before the perception of home video in Hollywood changed from "Boston Strangler" to "cash cow". --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 16:51, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
E.B.'s age
[edit]The cast list describes E.B. as 19 years old, but I was under the impression that the scenes with E.B. and Fred as children took place at about the same time, and then there's a title card saying "Twenty Years Later". So unless the scene where Fred saw the Easter Bunny took place earlier than the previous scenes (maybe I missed an earlier title card?), E.B. has to be at least 20 years old; if the bunnies in this film age approximately as humans do, he'd have to be about 24 or 25. Nationality of production
[edit]The only production companies listed and sourced are American. BFI reference shows Dentsu with an "In association with" credit which is not a production company credit, the other two companies listed in BFI get a "Production Company" credit. Dentsu is not a production company that makes films, involvement is financial only, not creative. That is the only link to Japan. We should stick with nationality of the credited production company or companies, companies that are in the actual business of making films. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:31, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
