- Presumably 홍운종. It depends what transcription system is being used for the U and Os. It might also be 헝은정, or a number of other possibilities, but 홍운종 is most likely. Aridd (talk) 08:04, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
KCNA
[edit]Quote from KCNA:
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- DPRK player Hong Un Jong bagged a gold medal in the vaulting horse contest of women's gymnastics in the 29th Olympic Games now underway in China. In the final competition held on Aug. 17 Hong made flawless performance requiring high technique from the start by turning herself 900 degrees backward in the air, turning herself 540 degrees frontward in the air and conducting accurate standing. She scored 15.650, the biggest points, placing first in the competition.

- Hong Un Jong → Hong Un-jong
- Hong Su Jong → Hong Su-jong
- Son Hye Yong → Son Hye-yong
- Han Jong In → Han Jong-in
- Jo Yong Suk → Jo Yong-suk
– These are North Koreans. By Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Korean), two syllables of Korean given names have to be hyphenated, and only the first syllable has to be capitalized. I want to move "Hong Un Jong" to "Hong Un-jong" (not "Hong Un-Jong"). Sawol (talk) 17:28, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
