Requested move 24 December 2018

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: moved as requested with Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions redirected to Eastern Sports Club as suggested. If an overview article is created, it may be worth revisiting whether the football team should remain at the base title. Dekimasuよ! 02:30, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

More on name, South China Morning Post the dominant English newspaper of Hong Kong, mostly just used "Eastern" for the male basketball team [1][2]. Matthew hk (talk) 17:41, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Second footnote. SCMP also used "Eastern Long Lions" to refer to Eastern's football team. So it is not wise to use the nickname as the article title of the Eastern basketball team while using the formal name for the Eastern football team, as both formal and nickname can refer to either team, or neither (refer to other section of the sport club). The football team is the primary topic of Eastern Sports Club for a long time, but i don't object to move both football and basketball section, and start another article for the multi-sport club. Other section of the multi-sport club is less notable, as i don't remember TV report had reported other section of the club. Matthew hk (talk) 12:11, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering should delete the sponsored logo from the article or not. The official website still used the registered trademark of the club, as well as on the basketball shirt. While the italic "Eastern Long Lions" or just "Eastern" was appeared in basketball team's facebook and also on the basketball shirt (photo 1; photo 2 is another team).
