Would be good to clarify whether a homojunction needs to be clean and epitaxial. I could imagine if I jam together a [100] face silicon crystal with a [111] face crystal, I might get some nasty interface states, and weird behaviour that wouldn't appear in a normal homojunction. Is poly-Si to mono-Si a homojunction? --Nanite (talk) 22:10, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
