Somebody should be smart enough to add that is idea comes directly out of John Locke's (1632-1704) writings. It surprises me that "the homestead principle" is being portrayed as something new, contemporary, and indirectly credited to Murray Rothbard when it is really a historical relic of the history of political philosophy and political economy, not much more than a dated retread that has been eclipsed historically hundreds of years ago by Hegel etc. By not anchoring its proper historical context, it misleads, intentionally or not. --Mikerussell 03:01, 9 May 2007 (UTC) - see John_Locke#Theory_of_value_and_property--Mikerussell 03:03, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
